I'm aware it's a Sunday today. (But hey, at least I'm not writing this on a Wednesday or something, right?)
Yesterday night, Sweden won Eurovision! Congrats to them!
Onto a COMPLETELY different note...
Here are some creepy Littlest Pet Shop fakes with similar head/body moulds that I surfaced on eBay.
The item is located in Hong Kong.
It posts to America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The seller, 'fashion-trench', has 98.6% positive feedback.
They sell a random range of items, including necklaces, LED lights, lab goggles, cosmetic brushes, mason jars (?), and lingere.
It's clear that this person, or cult of people (I mean, they sold 400+ of these LPS copies, I don't think they could do that on their own) is on a cash trip.
Below in the description, they state the following:
Also, onto LPS #675. This is an occurring issue.
Because it is a very wanted LPS (people pay literally $200 for it, what a crazy world we live in), it has been remade cheaply many times.
Also, look at the eyes of this LPS. They're smaller than the normal #675, and slightly turned inwards too.
Also pay attention to the point of the eye, whether the eye has two green strips, and the shape of the snout.
The price is very important too. Don't buy ones that are less than about $10 as they will most likely be fake.
Be sure the seller has good feedback and read about the conditions of sending back the package (you might have to pay to ship it back).
I hope you liked this case study - some of the sellers on eBay are just moneygrabbers!
Post again soon,
